Early July we made mention of the battle between the chimpanzees from Antwerp Zoo and the bonobos from Planckendael. The two teams were competing with each other in six different games. Four of the games were about collecting 5 walnuts from a puzzle box as quick as possible. Bristol Zoo’s auctions ‘Wow! Gorillas’

This summer, 61 unique ‘Wow! Gorillas’ sculptures have appeared all over the streets and parks of Bristol for everyone to enjoy in celebration of Bristol Zoo’s 175th birthday year. Some ‘Wow! Gorillas’ sculptures even made it all the way to Cameroon. In addition to celebration the multicoloured gorilla sculptures also raise awareness about gorillas.
